About Me
I am a Punk and a Witch...my beliefs, morals and values lie within that combination.
I love music, especially Punk, Metal and Oi!.
I'm a musician. I can play piano, guitar, bass and clarinet, and I can sing.
I am engaged to the most wonderful Pagan man in the world.
We are having our Handfasting this year.
I believe strongly in Karma and the Threefold Law. It is true that "As Ye Sow, So Shall Ye Reap"
I seek integrity, loyalty, honesty and dignity in any who wish to befriend me.
I am from Liverpool, England, but I love Australia as my home now.
I support and fight for animal rights.
Perpetrators of animal cruelty deserve much harsher penalties.
I have studied the Occult, the paranormal and Ancient Egypt since I was 8.
At 12 I was dedicated into Witchcraft, and at 15 I was initiated.
Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven' is the most wonderful piece of work I've ever read. I have a deep passion for the piece, much more than simply relating to it (the lost love's name, Lenore, being a short form of my name) or thinking it's 'cool'. The first time I read 'The Raven' was as a child, and it stirred up the most amazing imagery, emotion and memories within me that I'd never felt before.
I enjoy intelligent conversations and am fanatical about correct spelling. Learn to spell, people.
I am a very much a Cancerian: nurturing, protective, intuitive and an empath.
But I'm also very passionate about fighting against what I don't like or what I believe is wrong.
I love silver jewellery, and wear "far too much" according to normal standards. As if I care about 'normal'.
I love colouring my hair 'weird' colours, and have done so since I was 14. I don't intend to stop any time soon.
I'm a University graduate, currently undertaking honours.

Books
I love reading.
My preference for books is usually based on the subject not the author...
My favourite subjects are the Craft, Occult and the Paranormal - and all of the topics surrounding and related to them.
However, I do love books by Derek Acorah and Cassandra Eason which I choose both for their topic and because they're great writers.

Dislikes
People who keep changing their path/tradition/pantheon every few weeks.
People who are liars, hypocrites, backstabbers, or superficial.
People who copy or steal ideas from others. Especially when they make out like it was their original idea, but the whole world knows it wasn't. Inspiration is one thing...to blatantly steal/copy is another.
Poseurs, fakes and wannabe's.
Narrow minds, people who can't (or won't) think outside the square, and those who never question anything and simply live life as ignorant brain-dead sheep.
Tonight Sean and I were heading home after a rather fruitful outdoor ritual at one of our favourite spots.
After he'd been driving a while, Sean turned off the high beams because we'd both noticed the Moon creep out from under some heavy rain clouds and wanted to see just how light it was making the surrounding area.
Sean then mentioned that the formation of the Moon and the clouds in this particular way was almost identical to the Bathory 'The Return' album cover...then he stated "it's like we're driving towards the moon".
This sentence spoke to me. To me it seemed to mean something like having a massive aspiration - but one that is achievable. To aspire to something so great, yet have it within reach, is like 'driving towards the Moon'. Yes, technically I doubt - at least in this lifetime - any of us will ever reach the Moon in a car! But I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from.
Maybe it also means that each of us - well, any of us with aspirations - is striving towards their goal on a daily basis. Reaching for the stars...reaching for the Moon...? And for Witches and other Pagans alike, a connection with the Moon is even more important...and that connection is something I've (very gratefully) been feeling for many years, and has been especially enhanced lately.
Right now I feel like things are working out as they're meant to. I've uncluttered my life of a lot of pointless, useless and time-wasting people, things and activities, I've succeeded in completing what I've set out to achieve, and I've moved forward in so many of my goals.
So maybe the sentence spoke to me because I've always been ‘driving towards the Moon'.
I think we all are, in our own way.
For those of you with the desire enough to endeavour towards achieving your goals - I'll see you at the final destination. Enjoy your journey as I'm enjoying mine.
From a very young age I always favoured stories, cartoons and books etc with Witches in them. These Witches were, of course, the classic green faced, warty nosed Witches on a broomstick with a black cat by their side. Yet, they never scared or bothered me. Instead, I was fascinated!
At about 8 years old, I found a story book which was a harmless kind of fictitious kid's spell book, but from thereon I was hooked on this strange thing called the 'Occult'. For the following few years I sought any information I could on the Craft or related subjects.
In the beginning it was often only those fairly awful "Mystic Medusa" type columns in cheap magazines I came across, but as the search continued I succeeded in accumulating some good information to assist my research.
During this time researching the Craft I found that so many characteristics I had, and so many activities I performed, were actually all very indicative of my being a young Witch.
The reasons I...collected crystals, made corn dolls (at the time of the year I'd later identify as Lughnasadh), spent all the time I could near a wonderful old Willow tree because I always felt something ‘different' but lovely and connected there, put a bowl of water out under the full moon to use for ‘something special' later on, felt the most intriguing and familiar attraction to Ancient Egypt, adored standing in the wind and rain because I could feel energy within it, cared for my own pets and also looked after any hurt animals I found outside, was always called ‘wise beyond my years'...on top of everything else, all just began to make sense to me!
Then, when I was 12, my parents gave me my first credible book on the Craft by a respected author. From thereon I knew, beyond any doubt, exactly what my path was. At no stage have I ever looked back.
Even when I went through the most trialing times in my life, I never questioned my faith or wondered why it would allow me to end up in the situation I was in. It was, in fact, my faith and my family that were the two main reasons I survived. I knew there were reasons for all of life's lessons. At the very least they make us stronger, and I wouldn't change who I am today for anything - because everything I've been through, I had to go through to be this person.
Now, I am an Eclectic Witch with a strong emphasis on Ancient Egypt in my practices. I am about to marry a wonderful Pagan man who supports me and my path completely, and with whom I work together with to help grow and develop - as a Pagan couple and as individuals. I seek to further my knowledge and development every day and I strive to become the best possible Witch I can be.
Well I've had this site up for a while but haven't added a blog yet, in fact I haven't been able to do much on here due to time restrictions...but thanks to the long weekend, here's blog #1!
Firstly, I guess any of the main information about me can be found in the other sections about me and whatnot...
But basically, I'm an Eclectic Witch and have been for many years. Finding this path (or having it find me!) was definitely the best thing to ever happen to me.
I love being a Witch. It is the most fulfilling life I could possibly have ever hoped to lead. I feel more and more blessed each and every day. I am engaged to a Pagan man, who obviously supports my path, and that in itself is an amazing blessing.
Hmm what else?
Well, that's all for now, I just figured I needed to write one of these haha.
your on vf huh? I have seen you before! I know you by your hawk! :)
